Zendaya is one of the many American celebrities who are dog lovers. Apparently, Schnauzers are her favorite breed of dog. At the age of 8 in 2004, Zendaya owned a giant black Schnauzer named Midnight, a dog that loved her unconditionally and cuddled her whenever she needed. But unfortunately, Midnight went to heaven in October 2015 at the age of eleven. Zendaya subsequently too took to Instagram to post a tribute to Midnight, thanking the pup for being one of the most loyal men in her life.
Two months after Midnight's passing, Zendaya adopted another Schnauzer, a black miniature Schnauzer she named Noon Coleman. Zendaya soon set up an Instagram account for Noon, where she occasionally shares photos of her cuddling with the dog. Zendaya says Noon loves long naps with treats as a reward.
In addition, she says her dog, which she refers to as her beloved son, is best at getting on her brother Darnell’s last nerve. Just so you know, Zendaya often jokingly refers to Darnell as her brother, but he is not. Actually, Darnell Appling is Zendaya's longtime personal assistant. As of the time of this article, virtually 30,000 people are following Noon Coleman on Instagram, while Zendaya has 176 million Instagram followers.

In 2022, it was reported that Zendaya and Tom Holland took their relationship to the next level by adopting a pit bull named Pistachio in New York City. Though Pistachio is Zendaya and Tom Holland's first dog together, Tom Holland is already known as a passionate dog lover, owning a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Tessa.
