During a royal engagement on Tuesday, Kate Middleton met and instantly became fond of a 10-year-old Chihuahua dog named Casper. The way the Princess of Wales stopped to interact with the adorable pup has delighted social media fans with a video of the encounter taking the internet by storm.
Catherine was visiting Kirkgate Market in Leeds when she came face-to-face with the pampered pooch, who was sitting patiently in a stroller. The Royal was out promoting the launch of her new early year's campaign "Shaping Us," with the aim to raise awareness of the importance of childhood development.
Soon after her visit, a short clip of Kate and Casper was posted on TikTok and has received more than 200k views in less than 24 hours. The video shows Kate stopping by the stroller in which the small dog was sitting and asking: "Who's this?" The pup's owner can be heard answering Kate's question saying "Casper."
"Casper, you are very sweet," the Princess of Wales commented, jokingly adding that being pushed around is the way to live. Needless to say, Casper, the Chihuahua was lucky to meet the Princess of Wales.
